If the finished solid metal signet ring needs a slight size adjustment either up or down, to a maximum of 3 sizes either way, we will do this free of charge. Alteration is at the discretion of the jeweller and depends on the size of the ring. Please return to us within 28 days of receipt.

For stone set signet rings, we will arrange a fitting date to try on the ring before the stone is set. The approved finger size not adjustable once the signet ring has been completed.

The Era cushion signet ring

Inspired by antique Romanesque signet rings, the bold rectangular beveled face is the perfect blank canvas for displaying your unique design. Each one is hand engraved by our award-winning craftsmen in our central London workshop. Made to order in either platinum, 9ct, 14ct and 18ct yellow, rose and white gold. Your Rebus signet ring will be beautifully presented in our unique gift box with the wax impression of the seal engraving and a stick of sealing wax, so you can create your own wax seals at home.

Rebus Signet Ring Heritage

Heritage

It began with Raymond Wilkins, who won his first Goldsmiths Hall Craft Council prize in 1958 as a hand engraving apprentice. In 1971 he went on to establish R.H. Wilkins Engravers Ltd. in London’s renowned jewellery district, Hatton Garden. The company specialises in the highest quality precious metal engraving in the jewellery, gold and silversmithing trade. He attracted some of the best hand engraving talent in the country, while training many more apprentices during his career. As tradition would have it, the apprentices would be indentured through the goldsmiths’ company, which has supported apprentices and masters within the gold and silver trade for over 700 years.
